Gunilla Ryden & Henrik Uldall

Gunilla ryden (Sweden) and Henrik Uldall (Denmark) have worked together since 2004 and have become a well established and sought after teaching couple in the Scandinavian countries. Together, they have developed a teaching methodology built upon a thorough knowledge of body awareness, movement analysis and music theory.
Their aim is to explore and experiment more with "how" than "what"-and by this, they hope to inspire the dancers to develop their own personal tango, increasing their musical presence and attentive communication with the partner.

Gunilla Ryden is a qualified/trained dance-and body awareness teacher and has been teaching tango since the mid-90's. Gunilla distinguishes herself by a pedagogical insight and a teaching style that combines and unites body and mind. She has developed her own method of teaching couple dancing and does this on a regularly basis at Stockholm's University of Dance. Personally, she sees the dance as a musical game about awareness, inspiration and -not the least- pleasure.

Henrik Uldall is originally a ballet and contemporary dancer and has worked as a professional dancer and actor. He has been teaching tango since 2001 and also works as a consultant in communication (non-verbal and empathic communication). In his teaching, his focus is on body awareness, musicality and exploration of the possiblities of improvisation.
