Rob and Inez started in 1987 in Amsterdam, with teaching the open style tango. Their basic quality is the teaching of their own tremendous dancing-"figures", particular turns and special, refined embellishments. In their workshops they give a lot of personal attention to the participants. And during the evening salons (milongas) Rob usually dances with all the followers. Beside's their quality in dancing the espectaculo (show) tango style, they developed themselves the last years. Now they put more emphasis on posture, listening to each other, and leading and following exercises. .
With a emphasis on respect for each other, pleasure of dancing together and the wish that everybody will learn something, discovers new possibility's and will return home with new inspiration.

together with Sexteto Canyengue. they are very nice, engaged teachers, bringing you workshops with a overwhelming enthusiasm.
In their lessons Rob and Inez work from a relaxed and natural way of moving. They support this with various exercises for balance, standing, walking and turning. They will also use exercises to improve your technique for dancing ocho's, gancho's and boleo's. You are going to work on basics, on nice tango steps and variations which you will be able to use in your dancing.
But tango is much more than steps alone. Tango is also communication. A play with questions and answers, leading and following....In the dance you can experience things like: being alert, enjoying, energy, softness, respect, strength, playfulness, dynamics and so on....
